How to Summon Azmodan in Diablo 4 Season 11

Azmodan has returned to Diablo 4 as a powerful World Boss, bringing with Diablo 4 Items him high-tier loot and challenging gameplay. Unlike other demons who have dedicated lairs, Azmodan roams the Fields of Desecration, making his appearance dependent on the World Boss timer. However, Season 11 introduces the ability to manually summon Azmodan, giving players greater control over when and how they face this formidable foe. In this guide, we'll cover the step-by-step process to summon Azmodan, the level requirements, and what Diablo 4 items you can expect from defeating him.

Where to Summon Azmodan in Diablo 4

To summon Azmodan, head to the Fields of Desecration, located southeast of Zarbinzet. Here, you'll find three altars, each representing one of the Lesser Evils:

Duriel
Andariel
Belial

When interacting with any of these altars, a wave of demons will spawn. Once you defeat these minions, Azmodan himself will appear. It's important to note that the summoning process requires the correct items in your inventory, which we'll discuss shortly.

Level Requirements and Difficulty

Based on testing in Season 11, Azmodan requires your character to be at least level 60 to summon. Attempts with lower-level characters, even when fighting in Hard mode, failed to trigger his appearance. Interestingly, the difficulty level does not restrict summoning. Whether you are on Normal, Hard, or Torment difficulty, you can summon him as long as your character meets the level requirement.
