GTA 5 PS5: Master HSW Trials with U4GM
For a PS5 player who'd rather drive than sit through another long heist setup, the weekly trial rotation is a solid money-maker. A well-prepared character, whether built from scratch or supported through GTA 5 Accounts, can clear several events in a short session and walk away with serious cash. The key isn't just owning a quick vehicle. It's knowing which runs need raw speed, which ones punish bad braking, and when a restart will save more time than trying to rescue a ruined attempt.
Power Street needs a clean city line
Power Street is the sort of standard Time Trial that looks easy until traffic gets involved. The target time is tight, so don't blindly follow every GPS turn. Set the bike or car facing toward the first open stretch before starting the marker. Wide roads are usually safer than cramped shortcuts packed with lights and NPCs. A Bati 801 is still a cheap favourite here. Hold a controlled wheelie on the long straights, then put both wheels down before hard turns. Near Vespucci, brake early and cut neatly through open pavement by the beach rather than sailing past the finish.
Del Perro Beach rewards control over nerve
The HSW Time Trial from Del Perro Beach is a different beast. It mixes fast coastal roads, city corners, and rough dirt climbs, so one reckless move can wipe out a strong run. An HSW Hakuchou Drag is usually the easy pick because it launches hard and stays composed when the route gets messy. Lean the rider forward on open sections instead of trying to wheelie. Once the surface changes to dirt, ease off a touch. Full throttle over every bump sounds fast, but it often throws the bike wide or leaves it airborne when you need grip.
- Brake in a straight line before sharp corners.
- Use small steering inputs at high speed.
- Keep the bike settled over dirt rises and banked trails.
- Restart straight away after a crash, a missed turn, or a bad traffic block.
Build the weekly route around payouts
The HSW event is normally the biggest single prize, paying $250,000 for a successful first weekly completion. Add the regular Time Trial and RC Bandito trial at $100,000 each, then finish the Junk Energy course for its weekly reward. That can put the session around the half-million mark or higher, depending on the active Junk Energy payout. The Inductor bike is supplied, so there's no need to buy one. For the other races, practise in a quiet invite-only session if public-lobby traffic is getting on your nerves.
Make every reset count
Don't waste five minutes limping back to a start point after clipping a bus or bouncing off a curb. Hold Triangle to respawn and have another go while the route is fresh in your head. The Weaponized Ignus with HSW tuning is a decent four-wheel alternative, though bikes still tend to squeeze through traffic better. If you're also planning a casino session later, GTA 5 Casino Chips for sale may suit players who want funds ready for the tables, while the trials remain a dependable way to earn cash through driving skill.
