The wording can be a little misleading because Horizon Rush events sit alongside other map activities and share the wider Wristband progression system. The event should begin with a supplied vehicle and a timed course built around jumps, obstacles, or a set-piece route. Your own garage car isn't needed, and neither are upgrades or a custom tune. More importantly, you don't have to earn three stars. You don't need a personal best either. Cross the finish line and let the event complete normally. That's the bit the playlist checks. A lot of players restart because they clipped a barrier or missed a clean-looking route, but there's no reason to throw away a completed run when the objective only asks for a finish.

Unlocks and Small Problems That Slow People Down

If there's no Horizon Rush marker on your map, the usual reason is Wristband progress.
