Monopoly GO Sticker Exchange Tips from U4GM
A sticker swap can save a whole evening of chasing the same missing card. During the Happy Harvest with Looney Tunes album, that matters even more when you're close to finishing a set like Cafe Ingredients and opening Porky's Cafe. While you're keeping an eye on events such as the Monopoly Go Partners Event, it's worth treating each spare sticker as something useful, not just another duplicate sitting in the album. The safest approach is simple: don't send a valuable card as a casual gift when you're expecting one back.
Use the exchange option first
Once you've picked the sticker you can spare, open it and hit Send. Choose the friend you're dealing with, then look carefully at the bottom of that screen. Switch on "Make an exchange!" before moving on. It's easy to miss when you're tapping quickly, and plenty of players do. With the switch active, your sticker stays tied to a proposal until both sides agree.
Open Albums from the bottom menu.
Choose the set and find a card marked +1 or more.
Select Send, then choose your friend.
Turn on "Make an exchange!" and press Continue.
Confirm Exchange! to create the request.
Check what comes back
Your friend gets up to 24 hours to put forward their card. When they do, don't rush through the confirmation screen. Look at the sticker name, its star count, and the set it belongs to. A five-star card from a late album set may be far more useful than a matching-value card you already own. If the offer works for you, accept it and the cards move straight into both inventories. If it doesn't, you're not stuck with it. You can decline and keep your original sticker.
Keep your trade slots moving
An unanswered request doesn't take your card forever. After the response window runs out, the sticker returns to you automatically. In 2026, there's also an earlier way out: after two hours, you can cancel a request that hasn't received a reply. That's handy when a friend has gone quiet or you've found another player who has the card you need. It also helps you avoid clogging up your daily sending allowance with old requests.
Trade with a clear target
Before sending anything, decide what would actually help your album. Maybe you need Flour to finish Cafe Ingredients, or maybe you're building stars for a vault. Tell your friend what you're after and ask them to check their extras first. Players who plan their swaps tend to finish sets faster, especially around time-limited activities. If you're also looking at a Monopoly Go Partners Event for sale, keeping your sticker requests organised can leave more time for the event itself and fewer messages spent sorting out mistaken offers.
